Do’s and Dont’s in Writing a Resume

Do

  • Honesty is the best policy
  • Give ample time to think and prepare before even writing the draft for your resume.
  • Be formal as much as possible with the language you use in composing.
  • Your resume should tell the important skills neede for the job.
  • Make it a short resume but straightforward with important skills and strong points.
  • Make it a point to present a professional resume by making it visually attractive but simple and formal.

Do not

  • Do not put anything more than what you really need to specify most especially with work history.
  • Do not use unfamiliar words
  • Do not blabber about your past work experience
  • Do not use fonts that may render the whole content unreadable
