Sales is an activity that involves the selling of product and/or services in exchange for money or other forms of compensation. It represents the completion of a commercial event. The deal is basically finished once the customer has consented to the product or service by placing a full or partial payment.
It is also a part of marketing which is part of a separate corporate structure grouping that employs specialists that are commonly called salespersons. Sales is also considered an art that employs a process of systematic repetitive actions that enables a buyer to achieve his economic goal. This is the methodological approach to sales.
